I live next door to a retired welder who works all these far off northern places,some fly in.

I keep kidding him whenever he comes home....go start welding something in "my" Ring of Fire :)

We talk all the time.He hasn`t heard so much as a word yet about anything concerning the ROF looking for his services.He too would like it to start.I was talking about it with him yesterday.And i`m going to talk with him again today.I`m going to tell him to check with whoever it is that contacts him with work,the welders union and anyone else that might know something.They basically beg these guys to go work for them in these remote places.If indeed the ROF is looking for that many welders,someone that actually does the welding MIGHT just know something.

But as of yesterday,he hadn`t heard any such thing.

If they truly are looking for welders,he and his fellow retired welder buddy that do this all the time will certainly know,as the job they are on now is just about finished.

If you`d like,i`ll get them to check their hiring sources and report back what both of them have to say.
