There is a good chance that once Harper returns from China he will begin to be more vocal about his interest in helping to fund the ROF, since he has now diverted everyones attention from Wynne and her Liberals to his recent success with garnering bilateral Chinese trade and investment with Canada. It will be this achievement that he will tout as a Conservative victory, and use to convince the public that he and his Conservatives are the true Canadian heroes, and not Wynne and her Ontario Liberals with their frivolous spending, or so he would make it out to be. IMO he will use this agreement with China to single handedly persuade the public into thinking that the ROF will receive Federal funding only because it is in line with his newly acquire trading allies, the Chinese, whose hunger to invest in the Canadian market shows the ROF to be in the best interests of both countries..... Oh yeah, I almost forgot....there will be mention of the FN and how it will help them for good measure......but only because their needs are a Federal responsibility, and not because he wants to.
