In particular the raiding of the EI dollars, reductions of EI claims and eligibilty, and the severe cut-backs to social programs, health care and transfer payments to the provinces etc. etc...and sure, one may even argue that in the end it was all worth it; but, Martin was pilloried every bit as much as the Harper-haters are doing today.
