Budget defeats occur in minority governments but now is not the case. Nor does a budget need to be tabled before election but I think that it will be before this election.

Physical accounting year ends April 1, I presume. Budgets usually tabled before current year ends but not this time around. Hence I think earliest time for election is mid May, but more probable in summer.

That sets some back ground for our infrastructure and funding time lines.
