Yes, I think even Liam McGuinty, who helped spearhead the report, underestimated the potential, yet focused on the 32 year projection.

Our very own renown Canadian chief geoscientist, Dr. James M. Franklin, (B.Sc.(64); M.Sc. (67); Ph.D (70)), calculated that northern Ontario and the Ring of Fire holds about $350B in untapped metal value (Ni-Cu-PGE: $30B-50B, (I add Cr: $50B), V-Au: $150-$200B, Cu-Zn-Ag: $30B-$50B).

He also implies a $350B value added to Ontario, equating to approximately $700 billion dollars, I'm guessing over next 150 years?
