"I also have to assume that the proposal that reached him was by those 4 communities." Says Edgy.
Wrong assumption, Edgy.
-----Here are the facts:
The proposal that reached him (Rickford), was the Noront bankable economic Feasibility Study (FS) given to Rickford in December 2014 in a December/14 Mining Association meeting in Ottawa. This was the template for the infrastructure plan that Harper, and then Rickford had been asking Ontario for, repeatedly ( Wynne and then Gravelle), to submit for many weeks as a standard loan application conditional starting point for receiving Federal Infastructure Build Fund-funds.
Then Gravelle finally submitted the Infastructure Build Fund application paperwork along with the Noront FS plan, (long a public document), and the Mattawa FN communities (for which Noront had already secured EW Mattawa corridor agreements).
Then the Rickford/Gravelle photo-op pics; the PDAC Rickford multiple announcements; and here we are today:- per Cupcake, and many others:
- no ON consulting report (one year, and counting);
- no ON DEVCO details or substance, (almost one year and counting);
- no ON EA decision on one plus year ago submission, and counting);
- no permits of any kind (roads, drilling, FN winter road work permits denied (Marin Falls);
- no ON pre- permits;
- no ON-Rae deliverables (after 2+ years, and counting);
- no ON infastructure funds despite "$1B no strings attached" --- a one year old election promise;
Etc, etc
Just getting it right, Ed.
