If I had to pay such prices for basic needs then any all year road that delivered the goods to my neighbourhood for a fraction of the cost as soon as possible would be getting it Right. I would not care much about land rights or even the negligible effect on the local environment. Get Me My Road, NOW would be my outcry. That road would save me more than any royalty from said land and mineral usage by miners.
To this end I would consider even going to Queen's Park with a tent and a megaphone to get them to deliver the road. And I would have done that decades ago instead of in 2015.
Squeeky wheel gets the grease. That is why Mississauga gets a metro extension instead of northerners a road. It is not all about votes, it is about making noise.
