I know that the "plan" is to make it terrible to operate and then "takeover" the resource and this deal puts a thorn in the side of FNs aquiring the land by default. They won't win this style of bargaining and in fact will have lost the respect of the very people they are trying to convince that they need to be respected. In the end, this is NOT like B.C. and there is no claim of ownership of the land in question even if the FN think that the more they say it the more it will sound like the truth, even if there is not one leg to stand on. There will be threats until there has been an ageement.
