I once bought a house in Sudbury Ont., And my lawyers advised that before I could register ownership of my property under the law of Ontario, I had to sign legal papers stating that I understood that ownership only applied to anything above ground and that I had no rights of ownership to minerals underground. I was told that this was the law in Ontario. Would this not apply equally to the ROF ?
