As an investor, I don't like to see threats made to delay or block development any more than the next guy. Having said that, other parties....FN included... have every right to bargain in a way that maximizes their benefits....just as Noront does...and just as the government does....so I won't resort to name calling when it comes to the FN.

I think we also need to keep in mind that a couple FN do not speak for all and that Noront has good relations with those that will matter in the end. The fustration being exibited here by Aroland and Martin Falls is due to the fact that they have just become less relevant in the whole scheme of things.

I believe Noronts purchase of Cliffs is a game changer for Noront.....and a start for better things to come. For Aroland and Martin Falls, the outcome is not so good. It certainly weakens their bargaining position...and so they are upset...understandably....and have let that be known....for the second time since the deal was announced....nothing new really.

I doubt Aroland and Martin Falls have any options available to block the Cliffs/Noront deal....wouldn't that set quite the precedence if we were allowed that to happen.

So...I do see the deal coming to a close as previously announced...then perhaps an announcement regarding Noronts permits for Eagle's Nest....perhaps followed by another deal with KWG, which may very well include a deal with Aroland and Martin Falls (with respect to the Cliffs/KWG ROF chrome assets)....and then capped off by a funding announement in the upcoming federal budget...and all over just a short while.

Or am I in dreamland?
