YES...there will be Federal money for the first Nations to higher a team of lawyers from southern Ontario to evaluate the legality of the recent business transaction between Cliffs and Noront. There will also be monies available to appeal any such decision which does not rule in a mannner that is favourable to the further impeding/stalling of the project.
There will also be Federal monies available for a pilot study that seeks to determine the least effecient and most capital intensive means of carbon-capturing the green-house gases (methane) being emitted from the arses of the majority of our politicians in Ottawa. Cap and trade laws will be implemented that allow certain politicians to buy permits/allowances from others, especially during times of anticipated excesssive emissions (ie starting six months prior to any major election...and especially during Northern Ontario Political Road Trips). The media will dub this Program the "Gases-from- Asses Program" (both literally and figuratively ). The cost of implementing this program will be borne by the retail energy consumers of Ontario (on average, $5.61 will be added to one's monthly hydroelectric bill) .
Of course, the First nations should receive a royalty from those gases prior to their being captued; although, the gases will not be allowed to be stored underground on any Ontario lands above 43 degrees latitude. Should any of the gases stored underground south of the 43rd parallel make their way into the stratosphere North of the 43 parallel , First Nations should receive monies associated with any undue pain and suffering that befalls upon they or on any migrating herds of Caribou within a radius of 1000km from the path of the offending cloud(s).
