I have to agree Edgy. I'm tired of all the rhetoric.

Natives want to have ALL the benifits of a modern society, without having to work for or contribute financially to that society (tax dollars), basically a free ride. I too say scrap the treaties and make them all part of society like everyone else. They can work for a living like everybody else, no more free rides no more reserves!

By the way, I too am a native of Canada. My family has lived in Canada for 3 generations. Everyone of them have had to work for a living. This is MY CANADA just the same as everyone else who calls this country their home. Every citizen is to be treated equal. No special societies with their own set of rules. Time for everybody to 'get it right'.

Feels good to get that all off my chest. It's interesting that everyone else I talk to feels the same way. Some are more open about it than others. Ask around and hear what others really think.
