If one looks just at the property of a mine than it is destruction of habitat just as my drive way is, but that is irrelevant in the total context of a region. Just as much as a few words taken out of context from a message.

As the article points out, comparison to greater Toronto is more valid. And we all know that Toronto will never be restored, while a mine site much like Sudbury area will. So much for ridiculous exaggerations.

Be it greeners or natives, superlatives abound, and until the day that they are recognized and put in proper perspective our Ring will be used as ransom on the road to progress. Cheers and patience, Ed.
