One thing is pretty clear. He has NO intention of matching the $Billion that Ont has been pressing for on an exception basis He simply re-iterated the fed stance from day one.....apply for funding thru the channels provided. ONT needs to priortize the ROF and pull back on the other funding areas they submitted. Then the feds will get on board. This full statement from Harper is much ado about nothing.

My question is..where is Rickford in all this. He is being challenged for his seat by Hampton NDP. Seems to be keeping a low main stream profile and concentrating within his riding. Political postering means that the Ont libs won't priortize the ROF during this election as this will get the feds on board quickly with financing and enhance Rickford's re-election bid.
