It's hard to believe that anyone in Canada is under a boil water advisory. It is heartbreaking that these communities can't turn on a tap to mix up some juice or fill the dog bowl. In Canada, isn't it our God given right to have basic neccesities such as water? I think that Margaret Trudeau and (I think) Justin's wife initiated a project some years ago to raise money to supply wells for drinking water in Africa. The family is familiar with the process and possibly has good contacts to get the job done. Even if Trudeau does not get elected someone needs to take the bull by the horns and GET THIS DONE.

I am thouroughly enjoying the APTN series on the ROF. I love to eat up any information I can find on the project. Last night, the big question was what will happen in the next 5 years to those people who have received education and training for ROF jobs. They need to get on the job now and put those newly learned skills into practice before they forget and have to do a refresher course (at whose expense). What horrible time management is this. I hear them say that they are willing to go anywhere for work now that they have the know-how but with the turn down in Alberta they are at a stand still. How sad it this whole situation, how very very sad.
