Gravelle has been doing a good job looking out for the taxpayers of Ontario. If you crunch the numbers, the cost of coming to an agreement with the natives, that is giving them a modern lifestyle in the middle of the bush, by far exceeds any benefits to be had from the Ring of Fire at this time or in the foreseeable future. In case you haven’t noticed the priorities of the natives are not the jobs that come from mining.
Furthermore, if you build a road the natives will blockade it to try and get what they want. Until the natives get realistic, no agreement can ever be reached and the Ring will remain undeveloped. Unfortunately for political reasons Gravelle has to play nice with the natives so he is caught between a rock and a hard place. Give him a break.
