Message: In defense of Gravelle

From my point of view, -- and it's an outsider's point of view, from Europe and without any stake in Canadian politics -- it is hard to imagine how premier Wynne could avoid dismissing a minister with such a track record. The point is not that negotiations with First Nations are difficult, the point is inactivity. The Devco is a hoax.

And note the wording of his reaction to the auditor's report:

"Gravelle, who said he spoke to Lysyk before she released her report, said “we are doing all the work that needs to be done to be prepared for this major project moving forward, work that is being carried out by the dedicated people working at the Ring of Fire secretariat.”"

Taken in a literal sense, isn't he saying here that a) he expects things to move forward by themselves but b) is himself unprepared even for that? He definitely doesn't talk about what he wants to do in order to push things forward. What is Ontario willing to offer the FN? etc.
