You can have the surface Mr Mooniass but your ancestors sold the rock underneath the surface when they wanted the 100 years so far of handouts and benifits. I understand the need to protect what you feel is yours, the same as any other canadian in this country. All our ancestors have fought to keep this land from sea to sea as one Nation that we agreed to join together to protect. FN has a distinct place in this land as the first to set foot hear but not more of a distinction than any of the other people who have come and stayed for hundreds of years. I am sure all who are here now can negotiate your land back to your nation but then you will be on your own with out the support, how ever limited it may be in your eyes, of the rest of us. That means ALL support, money, trade, our road system. Remember the main reason that there is no road at this time in the north is that your groups and elders DIDN'T want any. That is the reason your services are limited.
