It is not a waste money, incidental investment anno 2015 for a limited number of households and mining crews. If you view it as a basic requirement for every citizen you need to take total costs per capita on the basis of all Canadians. It has advantages to be a large country with life in the rough, it has disadvantaged as well. It is in no way a precedent for anything a freeloader wants. In the end it is politics, give and take. Trudeau makes a statement, costly as per additional household it may be, hè does not run from his gutfeel, Canada has left it aside too long for such well developed country. Hè does something about it. That is the attitude we need, economic viable actions to follow. Costly, yes, but by no means a NOT shareholder should worry about. Not even circumstancial, no link to SP, matter of morality to deliver a basic human need.
