The prority, in my mind, is to get stuff into the areas. Even if it means just getting past the early thaw areas and around lakes extending the winter travel times for next winter. There are land routes availible. I do agree it would best to just follow the eskers north but that may not serve the needs of the most. Getting the minerals out can take another year or even two so a one lane all-season road with radio controlled passing areas is first and foremost. Then as building of mines and infrastructure procceds an eventual haul road or even a railroad can be completed. It is how it was done in the NWT and should work here as well. To build a haul road to start will take too long and slow mine construction for another year waiting for access.
