I'll agree that this is no place for 'political crap' but we have to admit that politics is playing a major role with regard to our investment.

I will only say that current Trudeau is promising safe water for all native communities but I do not think he will achieve it in the time line proposed. AND why only clean water?

IS IT not better to help the communities to provide that clean water themselves? I mean, how did this water become unfit? They want a seat at the climate change conferences but what they need to do is take a seat at their own communities and fix their own pollution first.
The communities need to be helped not only with the water but most aspects of their life. Local management, or rather mismanagement, is one the problems.

Providing the road to the Ring is the first step toward improving the way of life for the communities nearest the Ring. It would lead to not only helping to afford better water treatment but also better understanding how to pollute less in the first place. That is how the polticians should be helping instead of endlessly throwing money at problems that are not solved.

I could go on but all of you must have enough of a hint of what I mean. If only Ottawa would understand, Ed G.
