The PM system itself is fine but hackers exploited a vulnerability in the registration system. In order to shut that door down pending an upgrade, we had to disable certain items that also effect the private messaging system.
We are now in the process of upgrading the underlying software of AGORACOM. Since we are going through that process, we are also going to push through some other upgrades as well. Our developers have given us a timeline of approximately 30 - 45 days depending on the features we ultimately decide on.
Thank-you for your patience. We know it is a little frustrating but it is ultimately the best thing for everyone.
