Noront adds to exploration team
Ring of Fire explorer Noront Resources has added Ryan Weston to its senior management team as vice president of exploration.

Weston, most recently chief geologist for Carlisle Goldfields, was previously employed by Cliffs Natural Resources as senior geologist where he worked on the company’s Ring of Fire chromite properties. Following Cliffs’ exit from the region, Noront acquired these assets.
Noront has the Eagle’s Nest nickel, copper, platinum and palladium deposit and Blackbird, Black Thor, and Big Daddy chromite deposits on its books in the far north of Ontario, Canada.
