Roosevelt was a Senior Vice President in the leverage finance group at Lehman Brothers and its successor, Barclays Capital through 2010.[1] He then joined New York-based hedge fund Goldentree Asset Management where he served as as a Managing Director until 2015.[2] Roosevelt is a board member of the New York League of Conservation Voters[3] and is the Vice Chair of ecoAmerica.[2] He was an early supporter of President Barack Obama's environmental policies and was on the President's energy and environment committee.[
