She asks one question which might be answered "NOBODY has yet done presentations on what the hexavalent chromium will do to our people...why is that?"

Possibly nobody has done such a presentation because mining operations generally don't produce chromium in the hexavalent state. I believe high temperatures are required to produce this toxic substance. This means there might be some produced during reducing or smelting operations. If the chromite ore is transported away from the ROF area, whether by rail, road, or pipeline, there should be low risk of anyone in the area of the mining operations being affected.

It is even possible ( I don't know what the critical temperature might be to produce hexavalent chrome) the KWG process might result in lower levels of this stuff than other methods presently used to reduce chromite to ferro-chrome.

If anyone knows more, please chime in -Lar, you are likely to know a bit about this?
