The noront stock price moves up 33%....and Wayne Moonias, Neskantaga comes out with his "cease and desist" which squashes the momentum.
The price goes down ...and starts to move back up again...yesterday..
Coincidentally exploration started Mid August...so it is most likely something interesting has been seen.
Coincidentally.....this time Eabametoong.....another member of the east west road funded natives....feels it necessary to put out...more lamenting...to once again squash momentum.
This same Chief was lamenting in May of this year.....
“The use of diesel for energy has halted community and economic growth,” Eabametoong First Nation Chief Elizabeth Atlookan said Monday in a Matawa news release.
“Our goal is to have a community driven energy plan with the support of government to be off diesel.”
The conference gives companies a chance to present alternative power solutions to First Nation communities.
Eabametoong, located about 350 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay, is among five Matawa reserves not connected to the provincial energy grid.
Atlookan noted long-term economic forecasts suggest the cost of diesel will rise over the next 25 years.
“We are already having difficulty keeping up the cost to ship diesel and run aging plants,” she said
You would think based on the complaining about diesel use and cost and economic growth halt??? .....talk..., that she would want to get the road moving forward for the community ..but not delay it....?????
But, it's the timing of the complaining that I am watching...each time ..timed to squish a price move for noront.
I'm still thinking this in the back of my mind...........

The Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation of Saskatchewan, and the Nibinamik First Nation of Ontario, have purchased shares in NativeOne Financial Holdings LLC, the only Native-owned broker-dealer with a seat on the New York Stock Exchange. The agreement gives the two nations a presence on Wall Street, and an unprecedented voice when it comes to massive mining developments in Canada. Proposed extractions in Ontario’s Ring of Fire, where deposits of chromium, copper, zinc, platinum, vanadium and gold have been discovered, would impact at least 13 First Nations, including Nibinamik. And Beardy’s & Okemasis is sitting on as much as $5.5 billion in natural resources, said Dennis Smith, co-founder of NativeOne. =================================================== So we got 2 of the 4 making convenient laments during times of the Noront stock price moving up....and Nibinamik an east west road funded member...purchased shares of nativeone who has a seat on the NYSE????????? Imagine Gravelle and Wynne holding this back and at the same time having a seat on the NYSE??
