BHP Billiton,worlds largest mining comp.made a 3.2 billion usd profit vs a loss of 6 billion usd last period of six months.

 

Anglo Americanwrld largest platinum prod.made a 1.6 billion usd profit in 2016 vs a loss of 5.6 billion usd in 2015.

Due to higher prices things are looking up for the mining sector.
