Funkcy,

This is small portion of  my post from 5 weeks ago.

http://agoracom.com/ir/Noront/forums/discussion/topics/687568-wishful-thinking-for-rof-infastructure-money-but-hoping-for-at-least-a-mention-in-the-budget-2017/messages/2142935

"With service connections from two railroads (including a direct link north to Hearst), port facilities, large business-to-business support, and the existence of a major steel plate and sheet mill, Strapp said the Sault has many pieces in place that “no one else has.

Strapp said Nakina in northwestern Ontario or Timmins would be likely places for a metallurgical site for McFauld’s Lake ore, but the Sault is ideal to handle processed chromium (ferrochrome) to make stainless steel which would compliment Essar’s operations.

What we want is the value-added stainless steel.

===================================================

Not to forget that the Port of Algoma is the closest port to the ROF.

Funkey, when looking at the logistics mentioned above ...can you think of a better location to make stainless steel? Strapp states  "the Sault has many pieces in place that “no one else has."

Do you disagree with him?

Since the Essar Algoma issue is still ongoing.....it makes sense to some of us....the relationship between Essar Algoma's discussions and the ROF.
