Notice the Canadian European Trade Agreement benefit? ...nice change to nickel copper and zinc.

How will CETA benefit Canadian mining exporters?

“While most Canadian metals and minerals already enter the EU duty-free, upon CETA’s entry into force, all Canadian metals and minerals will enjoy duty-free, quota-free market access to the EU.

Current EU tariffs for metals and minerals can be as high as 10%.

Canadian service providers in the mining sector can also benefit from various provisions in CETA, including temporary entry and trade in services.

Canada will have a preferential trade advantage with the EU that many competitors won’t have.”

When you open up the link below, notice the changes to nickel, copper and zinc. Duties will be zero for Canadian imports into Europe

Do you notice in the link below the amount of export Ontario already does in the metals and mineral product market in the EU? It represents the biggest piece of the pie chart(page 1) and with the free trade all CDN metals and minerals will enjoy duty free quota free market access to the EU
