You have stated the essence of my thinking:

Unfortunately I believe the support payments appear to be given in perpetuity. Meaning if they become big partners resulting in large incomes they still pay no taxes?.

Hence am against all treaties of past or present and want all Canadians at equal level. Those natives that are not economically equal now are due to their own choice and should not blame the rest of us. This from a descendant of immigrants who came empty handed and had to earn keep.
