Local 2251 Message to the Members
CCAA Update
Your negotiating committee is presently working within the CCAA process. At this point in time, we are working towards creating an APA (Asset Purchase Agreement) to bring forward to the Court if necessary.
All of the same parties are still involved in the CCAA process. Our intent is to negotiate the best agreement possible on behalf of our members and that cannot happen quickly. Ultimately, any decision made on behalf of Local 2251 will be made by the Members.
Special General Membership meetings will be scheduled if necessary to ensure that members are as fully informed as possible as events unfold. At present, there is no need for a Special General Membership meeting.
