Message: There's something missing in today's news

Cupcake, I hope the following postings by Ringer, Sudbury Novice and finally Hoov's have answered your question re road to Marten Falls and railway.

May I add, The E-W road while slightly modified from original Noront proposal IS Going in as whole.
The road that I was refering to is the one to Marten's. Yes there are two roads in the announcement. Look on the maps, the ones in pink are the ones presently planned for while the one in dashed lines are the previous proposals by Noront & KWG. Marten road is only a partial towards the Ring.

I say that the Marten road is now only to them to get them on side to sign in into the approvals for the development. Eabametoong & Neskantaga opted out for what ever reason so Marten Falls was needed to replace their support. (I now believe that Wynne was trying to get more of the native communities on board but they probably asked for too much and wore her patience out.)

But this road will be handy when the railway to the Ring is built ( I have no doubt now) so this portion of the road kills two birds with one stone.
(Sorry for the delay, had to read most of the postings, lol)
All conjecture on my part, Ed G.
