I just read the following:
GUEST COLUMN "Lost resource opportunities mean higher taxes" by Colin Craig, Special to Postmedia Network
And want to comment that your guest failed to mention a fundamental truth;
"Total provincial and federal government debt in Canada is closing in on $1.4 trillion."
That debt is taxes spent but have not been collected as of yet. Not collected because if they had been proposed the politicians would be turfed out of office so this is an under the table means of spending without accountability.
Those taxes are delayed onto following generations when the people responsible for them will no longer be around to be held to account.
You and I are ultimately responsible for the way we allow ourselves to be governed. Ed
