Thanks Babjak1. I forgot that co-generation and the Port were in the mix. I was just a little taken back by the figures presented. Seems the longer this drags out the cheaper Algoma becomes. This must be the longest CCAA proceeding in Canadian history. Too bad the Canadian Infrastructure isn't online yet, and that they don't have the foresight to invest in keeping Algoma as a Canadian asset. Making and selling our own steel, whether stainless or not, would be a great cost saver when applied to all the infrastructure needed in our own country.
Its getting to the point now where us Canadians cannot even place the stamp " Made in Canada " on our products, unless we pay the foreign copyright fee attached to it.
