Recently, Baosteel Group Corporation and China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Qingdao. He Wenbo, general manager of Baosteel group corporation, and Liu Qitao, president of CCCG, representing the two sides signed a cooperation agreement.

CCCG is an oversized state-owned infrastructure enterprises under SASAC supervision , mainly engaged in infrastructure construction of ports, terminals, waterways, highways, bridges, railways, tunnels, and real estate development business, with operations in more than 100 countries  and regions all over the world . CCCG is China's largest port design and construction company, which covers  vast majority of coastal large and medium-sized ports since founding of China;CCCG is the world's leading design and construction company for highway,& bridge, and is involved in numerous high-level main road construction; CCCG is the world's first class dredging company, with China's largest dredging fleet; CCCG is also the world's largest manufacturer of container cranes,  accounted for more than 75 percent of world market share,  which exports nearly 130 ports in 78 countries and regions; CCCG is China's largest international engineering contractor, year after year was ranked on the U.S. ENR as  world's largest 225 international contractors.

Baosteel owns  first-class production equipment and technology R & D capabilities, and establish a sound scientific management and production system.  Adhering to the concept of "produce for generation, R & D  for generation, reserve  for generation",Baosteel boasts solid R & D capacities in new product development,to meet with customer's the technology needs . Previously, Baosteel and CCCG have been carried out some joint projects , especially in the development of wear resistant steel products and  supply.

The strategic cooperation agreement signed jointly by Baosteel and CCCG, can effectively promote the further integration of industrial chain, to achieve the docking of steel supply and demand, and promote the development and application of new varieties of steel. At the same time, it helps promote the two sides  strengthen cooperation in BT and BOT projects, work together to develop the overseas market, realize complementary advantages for win-win cooperation.
