I think that Vale and Glencore would be digging deeper regardless if Noront was ready to go or not... These are 2 companies looking for nickel ore to feed their smelters. Is there any other companies out there that may have an interest in the nickel that Noront has in the Ring??? X2 was tossed out there years ago and others could be waiting in the wings to put in an offer for Noront should the road issue ever get settled. My point is that only 1 major will likely be taking Eagle1 out of the ground. All the rest will be doing what they have to do in order to keep their companies running and in this case, digging deeper. 

That being said, if we ever do get the road issue resolved and the input by the governments in writing and money changing hands, someone will likely be getting a real gem in Eagle1 and like I had hypothesized before, following the ore to it’s source to “mine the elephant body”... If Noront does this, we would all be very rich (in about 25 years) after they follow that yellow brick road of nickel to it’s origin.
