Marlborodog,
none of it makes sense to me.
Please see below a link that is no longer on the Noront website under corporate presentations.
http://norontresources.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Corporate-Presentation-Q4-2014.pdf
A few months later Raymond James shows on page 9 cash costs of $1.53.
Page 11 will show you a side by side comparison between Noront and Sirius (nova project)...it shows Noront's cash cost for nickel is 3 pennies more than Sirius.
So, what's correct?? minus 30 cents or $1.53 during this narrow time frame?
If minus 30 was just a big mistake from the beginning then why is this corporate presentation still on the website and why was this one a few months later removed from the website.
what is not making sense to me is a change to 1.53... a dramatic change from Raymond James. Some info on Sirius back then.

Sirius has nickel copper cobalt...similar mix to Voisey Bay.
Noront on the other hand has Nickel copper and Precious metals.
If you look at a long term cobalt chart back in the 2012-2015 timeframe you'll see very little difference. Cobalt doubled in price since then.
But, how do you compare credits from copper-cobalt vs. copper and PGE's
I think back to NR's like this:

I'm not understanding how the enormously valuable Noront credits compared to just copper- cobalt credits result in a nickel cash cost higher for Noront vs Nova .
When I think of what Noront has for credits ...the minus 30 cents back then seems much more accurate than the 1.53.
