Seems that Outland branched out considerably since it began as a Tree-planting companiy in the mid-eighties. (I tree-planted for four seasons during my university summers for a company called Wilderness Reforestation (Wawa Ontario) and Outland was our major competetor for contracts , along with Broland ...we typically received 6 to 7 cents per tree planted back then ). Anyhow, we planted all around northern Ontario including the Chapleau Game reserve (perhaps I should be laying claim to potential revenue streams from the 250,000 trees that I planted back in the day ...where's my piece of the pie?) .... All that to say that those modular units could be for tree-planting camps or fire-fighting camps (there were often First Nation fire-fighters in the same vicinity as us tree-planters) or for numerous other possibilities ...
Cheers,
Luker
