Thanks for your comments Jean. I would be very pleased if you are right.
Any potential acquirer of Noront will not pay $7 for what is now a .36 penny stock ! So how do theyget Not on the cheap. Well, they look at the big shareholders like RCF and make them partners in a larger company with deep pockets and give them a board seat. They then look at management and treat them " very well " on a takeout and maybe offer management positions in the new company.
You also have to look at the timelines for mines to be built ( if ever) and ask if all involved really are willing to wait that long for a big payout.
Do you think Alan and the boys would like to be senior managers of Glencore or BHP or Rio Tinto ??
I think that big shareholders and management would jump at the above senario rather than take a chance on a less attractive bid.
Please don't view my comments as bashing. I have owned Noront shares for a very long time and add to my positions regularily and have never sold any shares.I just want to keep my eyes and mind wide open and think realistically.
