I am not concluding a cash grab.

What I saw was a tactic or bargaining chip that was presented to Matawa Tribal Council by the Chief of Marten Falls.

The gov't gave a reason as to why they put Marten Falls in the PED that they did. They stated language reasons.

The Chief of Marten Falls did not publicly come out with his reason for wanting to be moved.

That was left for you to think about.

Because the final decision by the Marten Falls Chief to change PED location came AFTER the road fiasco....I saw it as a tactic or a clear message being sent to Matawa Tribal council.

What Matawa decided to do after this message was sent is anyone's guess.

My guess is that Matawa respected who was in the driver's seat after this display and came to an ....understanding.
