Noront's Eagles nest EA submission had BOTH the east-west road and the North south road just in case it was one or the other or both.

The province has had this for years.
The webequie road to the ROF is really just one quarter of an already submitted EA that the gov't has had for years.
This piece of road does not need a Federal approval. Roads are provincial.

Below is from Mid Dec. last year.
When you listen to the interview you will hear this:
"we are working with communities and are in constant dialogue. Next step is project description in Jan – Feb 2018 . What does it look like where does it go? This makes things real. We expect shovels in the ground and the road started in that same period. Then Noront can go about getting together the financing for the mine.."

Noront President and CEO Alan Coutts said a project description should be released in January 2018

Mynot, I get that this did not happen in Jan.Feb 2018...due to reasons that we can only guess on.
EA's for roads don't take multiple years. Webequie submitted an EA to modify the EAST WEST EA previously done which was part of Noront's eagles nest submission...but the north south route also in the Eagles nest EA... hasn't changed and was submitted years ago.
It's up to Wynne to decide what timeline works for her.
