Ringer and Tinman, thanks for posting the new CEO for the Canada New Infrastructure Bank and the Bain ties ...
One week after the elections, there is a very "interesting" event taking place in Toronto (June 13, 2018), by an "interesting group."

PRI stands for "principles of responsible investment."
They are located in London, UK, and when you go to their website...you'll see they are partnered with the United Nations Global Compact and Finance UNEP initiative.
Below is a list of who signed the principles..

interesting to see: Ontario Teachers Pension fund, Healthcare of Ontario pension Plan (HOOP), Canada pension Plan and Investment Board..
Blackrock signed in 2008

===========================================================
But here is where it gets VERY INTERESTING....
Back in September 24-26 in Montreal...2014....there was a list of names that attended a PRI event.
Link is here
http://exploredoc.com/doc/4244137/the-organisations-attending---principles-for-responsible-...
You'll see five pages of names...so many funds from the UK, lots of pension funds, investment groups..like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley,TD Asset management, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank.....and yes Ontario Teachers Pension Plan, CPPIB, Health Care of Ontario Pension Board.
But,
There is one name that is unusual in this attendance list. One name that stands alone.
And that name is NORONT RESOURCES...page 4 of 5.
No other mining company is seen in this list. Attendees were Pension funds and investment companies.
The only other company that was an odd duck was Encana...and they supply oil and NATURAL GAS.
So why was Noront at this event and who invited them to come?
I suppose that the names listed on the 5 pages ....know who Noront is...
