NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
I thought about the below two sentences all weekend.
I kept thinking...what's the point of a short supply road to the Eagles nest mine...without an all season road..what's the point.
Then I started thinking about the hoverbarge- and Lockhead Martin Airship-combo team.
"The north-south corridor is widely believed to be the path for a future ore-haul railway for Noront Resources to send chromite off for processing.
The Webequie EA agreement involves a proposal for a short supply road from the community airport to Noront Resources proposed Eagle’s Nest nickel mine site."

Then, I started thinking again about this story from 2011 regarding the use of a hoverbarge.
"While the battle over the mode and route of a fixed transportation link to Northern Ontario’s mineral-rich Ring of Fire drags on, a novel means of transporting construction material and equipment into the remote, waterlogged James Bay lowlands is being proposed by the Sudbury-based Centre for Excellence in Mining Innovation (CEMI)"
You could start building the Eagles nest mine by having a hoverbarge. And the Muskegowuk all season corridor needs bridges that will require materials brought over.

Then I started thinking of Monty now called the Ghost.
Back in 2011 this "unfinished air cushion barge ...was sold"
https://www.wired.com/2011/11/worlds-largest-hoverbarge-finds-a-new-home/
A massive, unfinished air cushion barge designed for moving mining equipment across the tundra has been sold.
Air cushion barges – also known as hoverbarges – can glide above swamps and icy landscapes, and allow for year-round transport when roads are nonexistent or closed. Though they're larger than high-speed hovercraft, they're also easier to design since they travel so slowly that the hull doesn't have to protect against waves. That also means that cargo gets a smooth ride.
This one, known as Monty, is 210 feet long by 82.7 feet wide, and can carry 450 tons of cargo on a deck that's 8,611 square feet. Behind door number two, this *Monty *offers four diesel-powered Woodcock and Wilson fans, which can lift it about five feet into the air. In winter, it can glide over snow and ice while pulled by amphibious tractors. It can also be towed by another boat when the ice is melted.
It was originally commissioned by a Canadian mine to transport construction equipment from a gold, zinc, copper and lead mine on the Tulsequah River in Canada. That's 40 miles northeast of Juneau, Alaska, and no roads connect the two cities. Originally, the mine was going to use Monty to transport ore to Juneau via the Taku River. From Juneau, it would be shipped to smelters in Asia. That mine went bankrupt in 2010, however, leaving an unfinished Monty in the shipyard of its builder, Sundial Marine Construction and Repair of Troutdale, OR.

So what happened to Monty...now called the ghost?
Whoever bought it ...wanted to remain private.
Marcon International has been appointed as the exclusive broker...
And they conveniently have an office in Oakville Ontario...
This available hoverbarge creates the means to bring the materials in for construction.
As far as road delays...that too can be overcome ..much like Quest's remote issue.

The operator of Lockheed Martin Corp’s (LMT.N) blimp-like hybrid airships on Wednesday announced its first customer, a Canadian mining company that expects to lease seven of the heavy-lift cargo aircraft for a decade starting in 2019.
The airships could potentially carry more than 200,000 tonnes of rare earth ore concentrate annually for delivery to Quest’s Bécancour refining facilities in southern Quebec, the company said in a Nov. 16 release.

These Lockhead martin airships are scheduled to come out in 2019

But, Quest had financial issues ..what happens to the airships ordered?
The finished and available Ghost Hoverbarge provides a way to start today.
The Lockhead airships would allow Noront to ship out stuff directly from the mine to where ever they want.
Quest had rare earths but so does noront, along with precious metals, etc.
With the EV revolution on its way, the metals will start shining again and Lockhead's Airship would allow a means out..without an all season road...And folks like Moonias and Chief Elizabeth Atlookan, can wait all they like.
