Noront is doing and has done all they can to make everyone happy, yet its STILL is not enough.  Many more generations are going to live in these conditions until something changes, and the change lies with them.

I think the youngest are getting it, it is a dead end for them when they are dependent on the government - period. Get off the track, enjoy the benefits of profit sharing that is offered, open up to the possibilities of progress and change rather than complain about all the wrong doings of past generations.

I live in a part of Canada that has a vibrant and prosperous FN, not because they sit idle, but because they are taking full advantage of the opportunity of growth around them. Not holding anyone else responsible for their success or any failures.

I am sick to death to read yet another Chief ready to crush any moves forward because he "doesn't like the language used". Really?

I dont blame anyone for thinking we should rip the band aid off, turn off the taps IF they dont think they need to show the books. Offer full partnerships in any developments so they can all learn a new way of thinking and living. We would never let anyone suffer if they wanted to change and grow, work for everything that they want, and care about moving forward.

Its way past due.
