@Ktmracing22 " Does anyone know how good these numbers are?"
Hole MCF-18-98 intersected 26.4 metres of massive sulfide grading 2.1% copper, 3.4% zinc, 5.5 grams per tonne silver and 0.2 grams per tonne gold from 707.3 metres downhole.
With base metal deposits , 2% + copper is definitely a nice grade to have .The combined metals have an in situ value (using KITCO Rocks in the Box Calculator) of ~6gram/t gold-equivalent . Generally speaking, with gold deposits anything intercept above 100gram-metres is consider decent. With this hole ,one has 26.4 metres x 6grams or ~158gram-metres. Of course ultimately intercept depth , ore refactoriness (recovery) , and many other factors need to be taken into consideration , but this is a good general rule of thumb.
