NI 43-101 Update (September 2012): 11.1 Mt @ 1.68% Ni, 0.87% Cu, 0.89 gpt Pt and 3.09 gpt Pd and 0.18 gpt Au (Proven & Probable Reserves) / 8.9 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inferred Resource)
You can only imagine behind the scenes at Tesla and Noront
-The Tesla China Gigafactory is supposed to be ready to build before the end of the year.
Baosteel represents the majority of the market share for automotive steel and they have an MOU with Tesla
Also from the past:
"China’s fourth-largest steel mill Wuhan Iron & Steel Group has signed a long-term iron ore supply agreement with WorldLink Resources Co to receive material from the Bloom Lake mine in Quebec, Canada."
who had bloom lake and sold it to Champion Iron ore Mines? Cliffs.
What happened in 2016?baosteel merged with Wuhan iron and steel.
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-steel-m-a-idUSKBN13Q3B0
"The merger between the Baoshan Iron and Steel Group (Baosteel)and its smaller rival Wuhan Iron and Steel was formally completed following a ceremony in Shanghai on Thursday, creating China’s biggest steelmaker."
and what else happened in 2016? RCF came into Champion..
in 2017, Glencore does an offtake agreement with Champion.
So, the stuff that champion ships to china from Quebec.. is actually for ..Baowu...
And not to forget that Champion holds 22 million shares of Fancamp. And not to forget the very juicy comment Elon Musk made about the Electric Pick having all that expensive ..Titanium...tiO2
and Fancamp's magpie project in Quebec?
QUEBEC – Fancamp Exploration of Vancouver has received the first 43-101-compliant in-pit mineral resource estimate for the Magpie No.2 deposit from P&E MiningConsultants. The report puts 635.2 million tonnes at 42.49% Fe and 11.20% TiO2 in the indicated category. The inferred portion contains 239.2 million tonnes at 42.29% Fe and 11.21% TiO2.
The compliant resource numbers compared favourably with the historic resource estimate of 1.1 billion tonnes at 43% Fe and 11% TiO2."

-Germany is Europes largest automarket. Tesla is supposed to announce the location of their gigafactory in Europe before the end of the year. Supposedly it it between Germany and the Netherlands.

Looks like Baffinland iron ore in Nunuvut, is getting ready for the tipping point with help from a German company
Remember RCF's involvment with Baffinland Iron Ore, where they were the major shareholder and the shares were tendered to Arcelormittal?
check this out from two weeks ago:
thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions is developing and building a new 5,500 t materials handling system for one of the most remote and challenging locations in the world: an iron ore port in northern Canada. Recently, the first plants were shipped completely pre-assembled from Bremerhaven, Germany, to Baffin Island.
Baffinland Iron Ore Mines Corporation’s (Baffinland’s) Mary River mine is one of the world’s richest iron ore deposits with iron contents more than 65%. At the same time, the port on Baffin Island is one of the most demanding locations in the world. It is only free of ice and accessible to shipping between the end of July and the beginning of October. With thyssenkrupp’s new material handling system Baffinland aims to triple its material handling capacity to 12 Mt of iron ore per year. The project generates a major potential for the economic development of the region and will create jobs for the local population.
Christof Brewka, Head of Materials Handling at thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions: “Ambitious projects like this require a deep understanding of local conditions, close collaboration with the client and efficient global project management. One of our strengths is that we can bring together our experts at different locations around the world. Teams from Germany, Canada and the USA have pooled their know-how to develop the best solution for Baffinland. At the same time, our proven technologies will guarantee the highest productivity even under extreme climatic conditions.”
thyssenkrupp is supplying a complete system for the processing, storage and transport of iron ore. This includes a complete railcar unloading station, a crushing and screening plant, a stockpile system including a combined stacker/reclaimer, a ship loader as well a conveyor plant connecting all components. Due to the difficult logistical and climatic conditions on site, the plants are pre-assembled at a total of four locations in Europe, Canada and the Middle East.
The first delivery including a crusher, a screening system and a railcar unloading station was shipped from Bremerhaven to Canada in July 2019. While the railcar unloading station was preassembled in Stettin and transported to Bremerhaven, the crushing and screening system was assembled in Bremerhaven. The crusher building is 23.5 m wide, 33 m high and weighs 1,470 t. The screen building is 30 m wide, 34 m high and weighs
almost 1,800 t. The BigLift Barentsz reached port on Baffin Island with its roughly 5,500 t freight in the beginning of August. Two more cargo ships are scheduled to deliver conveyors during the current shipping season. The remaining units will be delivered in 2020.
When it goes into operation in 2021, the system will crush, screen and store the ore produced in the Mary River Mine all year round and load it onto Panamax or Capesize ships during the ice-free season. For example, the system can fully load a Capesize ship in just one day. Few people outside Canada know much about Baffin Island, the fifth largest island in the world with a surface area of over 500,000 km2 (almost 1.5 times the size of Germany) and a population of under 12,000. One reason for the low population figure is the harsh climate roughly 600 km north of the Arctic Circle. Spring arrives in mid-July and winter returns in September.
Baffinland Iron Ore Mines operates the Mary River Mine at the northern end of Baffin Island in the Canadian Nunavut territory. At a latitude of around 72°, it is one of the northernmost mines in the world and has been producing high-quality iron ore for 12 months a year since 2015. The ore is transported from the mine to Milne Inlet port on the northern coast around 100 km away. As part of the overall project, this transportation will be converted from road to rail.

What did Elon Musk say back in July of this year?
https://electrek.co/2019/07/26/tesla-factory-europe/
In a conference call following the release of the letter, Musk added:
“We also have to finalize a location for our European Gigafactory before the end of the year.”
The CEO also said that he expects construction will be “well underway” within the next 12 to 18 months and have the European Gigafactory operational by the end of 2021
and also this:
Last year, Musk said that Germany is the “leading choice” for a factory in Europe and he even specified that “the German-French border makes sense” for a factory near the Benelux countries.

yesterday, there was this news... why are we looking at Germany's model?
https://news.ontario.ca/edu/en/2019/09/minister-lecce-welcomes-german-education-committee.html
TORONTO — Today, the Honourable Stephen Lecce, Minister of Education, hosted Peer Knöfler and his colleagues from the German Education Committee of the State Parliament of Schleswig-Holstein, and issued the following statement:
"My number one priority is to ensure students have the tools and skills they need to access good-paying jobs of the future. It is critical that we look at new ways to empower the next generation and challenge them to reach higher, amid a stubbornly high youth unemployment rate and skilled trade shortages.
That is why I was pleased to have met with Peer Knöfler and his colleagues to take a closer review of Germany's successful apprenticeship model that facilitates a strong level of youth employment. It is critical that we learn from the experiences of other jurisdictions in order to continue building a skills-focused education system that opens the door to high-quality opportunities and good-paying jobs for Ontario youth.
I am committed to deepening our relationship with our German counterparts - and all education partners - to ensure our students are able to succeed and prosper in a competitive global marketplace."

so in my long winded way ...I see Tesla everywhere. When I see the action above in my post, how can my thoughts not go the Noront and it's largest shareholder ....RCF.
Noront has it all. The electric Vehicle superstore, located in a good juridiction. So what is the plan?
Will the goods go to Europe and China..while Ontario...does nothing.
check this out :
https://www.tesla.com/en_CA/support/incentives
Do you see the Federal incentive? Notice nothing from Ontario but incentives from Quebec and BC?
What could Ontario do to attract Tesla to build here? How about an incentive?
How about..., "you can have the goods from our backyard to give to China and Europe but, you need to do something in our backyard too?..like in Oshawa."
Look at Germany..
"In April 2016, Germany officially announced a new incentive and investment program to accelerate the adoption of electric cars in the country. The most important incentive is a €4,000 discount for all-electric vehicles. Following the announcement of the program, Tesla issued a complaint claiming that the government and German automakers purposely set up the program to exclude Tesla in favor of local manufacturers."
It was a good way for Germany to let Tesla know...we have the biggest market in Europe...you too can play a part...just become a local manufacturer.
Not to also forget Thyssen Mining's appearance in Sudbury that happened last year.
So what is Ontario waiting for...? Give an incentive for EV's and do a deal with Tesla.
