The joint action plan on critical mineral resources between canada and the US was finalized last year in January 2020. There has not been any action after that plan. I am hoping that the March 11th announcement is the start of some real action including financial investment/aid from the FEDs, revenue sharing agreements with the FNs and streamlining the permitting process.

RoF chromite is mentioned in the Critical Minerals diagram by the National Resources of Canada.
