DRS.....Whatever is going on here...Advertising, sell-out, hostile takeover, lighting fires under the whole thing, kicking assets, raising share price....There has to be a good reason. Especially, when certain groups are silent. How many do you think are in the know here...Board, feds, province, FNs....When people don't speak it is for the following reasons in my books...1) They have nothing to say 2) They are too dumb to know what they're talking about 3) What they say might incriminate them & 4) Saying something might let some cat out of the bag.
I am uncertain for now which of the 4 items I just mentioned is the case here.
It is quite obvious, in my mind, there are a lot of people with secrets to tell. But, like I said, they remain silent. Our board is acting suspicious. There is no doubt about that. Are they complicit, incompetent, or just plain dumbfounded. I am puzzled. But why are they propping up these pathetic bids; "YES" men. Especially, when those whose Ring of Fire claims that were sold in the past sold for about the same as what has now been bid for Noront, and yet I find there to be no comparison whatsoever; ?. No one goes from talking about owning 85% of the Ring, with assets being worth multiples of billions, 60+ to be exact, to then treating them as if they are penny candy for the taking. This...As a shareholder....Infuriates me.
There is a game here, and it is not about ownership just yet....Hmmmm.... Why own something that can be vetoed by FNs, or a country's government, when you can hold onto a controlling percentage of a company and be graced with offtake agreements that give you what you need. In essence: Why own the foreign cow with fleas when all you want is a steady flow of milk. The simple fact is this... Wyloo..BHP...They both know that the debt that Noront has is inconsequential to the deal. In that respect even if you address it the sheer gain they will accomplish by owning Noront's assets is insurmountabe. So...I call BS on the debt card Dear Alan is playing. For years him and his board have been, IMO, collecting shares, or gifting themselves oddles of cheap shares, to be used for a particular moment such as this. He had best choose his words wisely, and hope he is truly seeking to get the most for shareholders...He, IMO, is walking thin ice unless this all goes away magically...Which I see happening.
This goes deeper than we think, and the angles have been sharpened for a very long time now. The end game is approaching, but just like a good movie we won't see the twist at the end. Again, only our board and host of other VIPs know the ending....IMO. YES, yes...Call me a conspiracy theorist...Blah, blah, blah...
I, for one, am looking beyond what I see, and hear.
