As a long time napper, one of my favourite sounds to wake up to is coffee percolating. The slow  sometimes frustrating period as it warms, and then the quiet sound of the first bubbles, releasing that delicious aroma. Remember those old style percolators? The ones where you could watch through the little clear top as the coffee started to really come to a boil?

The more that coffee percolated, the richer tasting it got.
