Some military history observations very relevent to the above subject, come to mind.

In WWII , British land military commander-in chief Montomery convinced US/Allies top military leader that his plan to end the war asap (6 months earlier), by fighting accross seven major, very deep, large rivers on the way to be the first General to the Allies into The German homeland. Immagine the glory!

Montgomery's personal jealously of Gen. Eisenhower's very positive, US -Allied   public adulation would be change if "He" was the first person to enter the Third Reich homeland. ( Ditto- Tjr with Harper and O'Toole, today).

He was wrong; Russia was the first into Germany. Britan's decline commenced. Eisenhower became US President, within six years.  Tjr will be next, in less than 3 weeks).

Mountbatten wrote (in many military histories; quoted in recent TV series' The Crown); in answer to the question: "how do you gain control of Democracies?"

His answer, in order:
1. Control the media.
2. The economy
3. Public Service administration
4. The Military leadership
5. Legitimacy: of Law courts and Parliament 

Tjrs' personal grandure-power wish to asap claim defeat -accolades, of Covid19: in the face of already known C19 -Delta varient; despite the known onging dangers of the $1.3+   $$ Trillion (PBO scensured, PMO controled), increased  debt obligations of Canada. All for his personal power and recognition. 
Tjr has already completed all ($400-600M media "Fund" bribe without Parliamentary vote approval, and refused financial recipient ( opposition-led questioning); or part of the 5 above Mountbatten criteria for dictator control .....of Canada.

The Bridge To Far annalogies with Forests' Wyloo are also readily apparent, per a  Tinman recent  post.
Greed, lack of plan, and ACTUAL deep enough pockets/partners have been exposed to all Noront investor/ voters.
Lack of foresight, military and political leadership, prepardness, has caused Canada's failed rescue of Afghanistan - Canadian allies.
In crisis, failed promises fulfilled have a consequences  as Churchill found out.

Ignoring Delta will cost TJr his already trend- diminishing voters, just as Churchill lost power in the 1945 post war nation and Tjr less than 3 weeks from the Sept 20 vote.

IMO,

the following event actions will occur, commencing Sept 10:
1. Ford and O'Toole will jointly announced their, [when respectly elected (8 months for Ford; Sept 20, for O'Toole]
2. Joint ownership of Wyloo- BHP-ON ownned and controled NoT shares, with OTool led approrpiate legislative support. This will be encouraged.
3. Canada and Austrlia will lead world-wide strategic, world wide, EV and related product battery- led metals-mining-industrial complx in both world hemispheres.
Note: 
This (again, IMO), announcement anticipates  a huge early start of mail-in voting due to C19-Delta concerns, and delays/ counting of mail- in vote packages, and vote result counting, between Sept15 and 20.
